Whitehorse to Dawson City

Today we will travel from Whitehorse to Dawson City along this route.

We stopped at Braburn Lodge. Here is Wayne and Emilie with Bear.

We bought a sticky bun. We only needed one per coach as you can see.

Our lunch stop was at Pelly Crossing where I visited the Big Jonathan House.

Our second rest stop was at Tintina Trench which is a geological fracture. Several members of the tour took their turn at hitting a golf ball to nowhere. Here are Chuck,

and Linda.

This tells about the trench.

As we arrived in Dawson city, the landscape was covered with the tailing's left by the gold dredges and abandoned gold mining equipment.

After setting up we took a quick driving tour around this quaint town. As you can see, the streets are not paved.

Can't wait to explore this interesting looking town.
