Our destination was the Tokyo Steakhouse which has always been a favorite of mine.  We filled two table looking at each other.

Cat from marketing and Brad our general manager joined us for lunch.  Brad came because he is leaving for a better job and he is taking every opportunity to visit with us before he leaves.

Each table had a beautiful fresh flower arrangement with the addition of pink and read napkins.  We also had a watermelon, lemon zest “cocktail” to whet our appetites.

Wayne had given me a dozed red roses so I thought it only appropriate that he wear one as a boutonniere.

Our table mates were Margaret and Lee.

We both had the French onion soup then I had the filet and Wayne had the lobster.  Both were excellent.  I had strawberry shortcake for dessert and Wayne had the red velvet cake.  We left very full and happy.

Happy Hour at Jack Allen’s

Tuesday was the traditional Mardi Gras but the second Tuesday is always Happy Hour out at some restaurant.  We loaded up the bus and headed to Round Rock to Jack Allen’s.

Marketing always invites some people from the community to these so they provide the appetizers.  There were lots of appetizers and quite a variety.

Here are Erin our social director, one of the invited guests, and Cat from marketing.
