Correl RV Park

We arrived in Texas last Sunday and are staying at Correl RV Park in Tomball, Texas.

You can always recognize our coach by Bevo in the front window.

We also had a sign made with our names on it while we were in Rockport.

Yesterday we went to the storage room and got rid of the suitcases that we needed to take on our cruise. Then we went to Nola's (our daughter) house to pick up the things that we had shipped to her and all of our mail. There was two months work of magazines and a couple of weeks worth of mail along with lots of medication. Sorting through everything took us the rest of the afternoon.

This morning was rainy so we worked inside the coach. The rain seems to be clearing up this afternoon and it is turning into a beautiful day.

Tiffen Service

Well, we have been at in the Allegro Campground here at the Tiffen Service facility since Friday afternoon. If you can imagine a campground of over 100 spaces will almost all of the coaches being the same brand. There are a few SOBs (some other brand) in the campground but not many.

We had an appointment on Monday and had to be at our service bay door at 7:00am. They worked on the coach Monday and Tuesday then sent us back out to the campground to wait for parts. While they are working on the coach, we hang out in the customer lounge and visit with all of the other people who are there. I have also gotten a lot of jewelry made.

They called us into paint on Wednesday right before noon and then we had to be back over there this morning at 7:00. It is now 1ish and we are back in our parking space until 4:00. At 4:00 we will go to the runway to have some after hours work done. We have a few more things to get done in service after the parts come in.

If we are not going to get out of here by Monday or Tuesday then I will drive back to the Houston area by myself to go to a meeting on Thursday. Wayne has to be in San Antonio on Monday for a dermatologist to take a skin cancer off his forehead. Depending on when he gets out of Red Bay, he will either go to Houston or straight to San Antonio.

Saint Patrick's Day and Country Western night

Tuesday evening as we were preparing to go to hear Tony Kenny's Ireland, an Irish Variety Show, Wayne tried to peel the green sticker off the headlight so that I would have something green. It didn't work. The show was good. There was a male singer and his singer daughter, traditional irish dancers, and an Irish comedian/entertainer, Joe Cuddy.

Last night we heard Restless Heart. They were very popular in the late 80's and early 90's with such songs as "That Rock Won't Roll," "Why Does It Have To Be Wrong Or Right," and "I'll Still Be Loving You." It's nice when you can understand the songs they were singing.

Tomorrow we leave for Red Bay, AL. For more pictures go to: http://picasaweb.google.com/marynelle/FMCARally#

FMCA Rally

Wayne and I are currently at the FMCA Rally in Perry, GA. We have both been attending some very interesting seminars. One of the ones that I went to was "Every RVer needs a Blog" presented by Geeks on Tour. I decided to put my new knowledge to use so here I am. I will use my blog to keep you up to date on our comings and goings and will include a picture or two to entice you to go to my Picasa photo gallery(ies) for more. I will still invite you to look at the Puerto Rico pictures on Kodak.com as soon as I can.
