Gold panning in Fairbanks

I saw this family of ducks along the this morning in the river at the campground.

Then three die hard gold diggers set out with Spike to go gold panning this morning at the
Felix Pedro free claim.

This is a pretty little creek that is probably not over a foot deep at the deepest and only a few inches deep in most places.

We all found more gold and I actually found a nugget. You never can tell where you might find gold.
