Sourdough Mining Company

Tonight the group went to the Sourdough Mining Company for dinner. Wayne is getting the bug that has been going around and so he didn't go. This place serves family style. There was salmon, steak, and chicken along with slaw, hush puppies, etc.

Then just as we got full we were told there was an ice cream sundae bar.

After dinner we waddled over to their Wild Berry Theatre to see a movie about Alaska and the wildlife. It was very good.

They had this huge stone Inuit.

The theatre was made to look like an old mine.

After the movie we went over to the gift shop where we saw their 11 foot high chocolate waterfall. Some of our group threatened to put their mouths under the flow but no one did.

Four teddy bears sitting on a bench.

The gift shop sold lots of products made from the wild berries of Alaska.

It was a fun evening.
