To Riviere du Loup

When we woke up this morning it was the clearest it had been so I took another shot of the lighthouse and the mountains in the distance.

The drive to Riviere du Loup was beautiful.  We crossed the river lots of  times.

We saw lots of old homes on working farms or dairies.

We drove beside the river most of the way.

Thought this horse drawn carriage was unique.

There were some really large old barns.  Made me wonder what treasures you might find inside.

We drove beside the lake with lots of homes scattered around it.

At the end of the lake was this small chapel in a cemetery.

A lot of the churches in this area have similar steeples that are silver.

I thought this was a cute motel.  It looked more like a B&B to me.

I almost didn’t get a picture of this Dutch style windmill.

Here we are coming to the St. Lawrence River where Riviere du Loup is.

The park is right across the street from Noel Au Chateau.  I took pictures of it lit up.

The grounds are right on the river.
