Lunenburg and Mahone Bay

Today we drove over to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.  The others did this trip the last time we were in Halifax but we were busy that day.  Coming into town was this impressive home with a widow’s walk.  It probably belonged to one of the sea captains.

It is also known as the home of the “Bluenose” rum running ship and other tall masted ships that were used during prohibition to run alcohol to the US.
