To Carleton, QC

This morning we left New Brunswick and headed to Quebec.  We followed the Acadian coastline most of the way.  They are a very proud group of people and show their colors every where.

These very small towns have very large churches.

It is a known nesting rock.

And another nice church.

We stopped for a few minutes beside this marsh and I took pictures of these cattails.

As we got close to the border we could look across the water and see Quebec.

Cambellton is the last town we passed in New Brunswick.  It had some very old buildings.

This is the bridge that crosses from NB to Quebec.

Now we could look back at New Brunswick.

We passed this very large nest on top of some electric poles.  I couldn’t really see the bird but am guessing it is either an osprey or an eagle.

We went to the campground and got set up and then we started having problems with the electricity.  Several of us went into town to get some more information and in the process I saw a brochure about a campground a little further up the road.  After checking it out we decided to move.  This was the view looking out my front window last night.

We are on a peninsula within walking distance of this lighthouse.  Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow and I can get some better pictures.
