Naples and Sorrento Enhanced

Now that we are home, I am posting my original blog with all the pictures for this stop.

As we pulled into Naples you could see Castel San Elmo overlooking the city.

We headed out with our driver, Tomasito, for Sorrento.  The weather was hazy but here is a view of Mt. Vesuvius.

We were dropped off in the square in Sorrento and this was one of the churches we saw.

And here is another.

We asked to see a castle so our driver brought us here which may have been the Royal Palace.

We walked up to the door only to find out that it was closed for a private wine tasting.

Since we had been dropped off for an hour we chose to look for some lunch which we found at a lovely little sidewalk cafe.

Here is another view of Castel Nuovo.  Note the cruise ship next to the castle.

Tomorrow is a down day.  Hopefully I can get to feeling better.  I’ve been told that I  need to cut down on the number of pictures that I send.  I will upload more pictures to my Picasa site when we get better internet service.  Maybe in Venice.
