Even through we drove the same road going to Valdez, we are looking at it from a different perspective now. Also, there are some very low clouds that make for a very different look.
We can now see these three glaciers clearly as we leave town.
As I've said before, Valdez is known as little Switzerland and I can understand why.
More mountains and more glaciers.
Here is a closer view of the three glaciers.
Since we had so much rain, all of the waterfalls are flowing heavily.
The mountains are not as close in as we move away from Valdez.
And they are not covered with as much snow.
The drive to
Tok was pretty in a different way from Valdez. We got in fairly early and stayed at
Tok RV Village which was a very nice park with full hook ups and 50amp service, cable, and
WiFi. Tomorrow we will try to make it to Whitehorse.
