Sandy Beach – St. John’s, NB

We crossed the border into Canada yesterday without difficulty.  We are staying at Rockwood Park RV which is attached to Rockwood Park with over 2,000 acres.  We were joined here by Mike and Patty.  We all went out to dinner at Pizza Delight which has a lot more than Pizza.

This afternoon Mike and Patty and Wayne and I decided to go and find a beach in St. John’s.  After wandering around the city for a while we found the road to Sandy Beach.  Here is a picture looking out at the water.

The first place we pulled into was still high above the water.  However it did have restrooms.  In case you can’t tell, there was a blue porta potty inside this cute replica of an outhouse.

We finally found a place where we could walk down to the beach area.  Here are Wayne, Mike and Patty looking around.

Patty and I went wandering off while the men stayed and had a deep conversation.

This was really a pretty place with the waves crashing against the shore.

We drove back in time for happy hour and for Wayne to fix a wonderful dinner.
