Jasper to Eureka, MT USA

We left Jasper early hoping to make it to the USA today.  We feel the need to have cell service again.   This part of Jasper reminds me of Alaska.  there are tall mountains.

And even more glaciers.

The mist rising off the water made for a very eerie feel to this scene.

And then there were more glaciers.

This is the area of the Columbia Ice Fields.  It got to a point where almost every mountain had a glacier on it just like at Valdez.

We went through this old stone tunnel.

Somewhere along the way we left Jasper NP and entered Banff NP and then Kootenay NP.  This is the Redwall Fault at the entrance/exit to Kootenay NP right before

After we left the Canadian National Parks, we were still in Alberta for a while.  We still had winding rivers and mountains.

Finally we crossed into the USA.  We are so happy to be back.  It was wonderful seeing British Columbia, Alaska, and Alberta but its good to be home.

We stayed at a really nice RV park in Eureka, Montana for the night.    They had a casino but we were too tired to gamble.
