As we strolled along the waterfront, we saw some of the old buildings like this one that have been converted into restaurants and stores.
Just like the painted horses, painted cows, and painted turtles in Corpus Christi, Halifax has painted dolphins.
They also had this plaque that appears to commemorate Giovanni Caboto’s arrival in Halifax.
And a wave that clearly stated “NO CLIMBING”.
There was also this setting appropriate children’s playground.
Speaking of children—they can always take a ride on the Tubby Tugboat.
Walking back to the brewery we saw some more example of old Halifax buildings.
The building on the right is the home that Alexander Keith built for his family so that he could be close to his work.
After we got in the car we drove up to the Citadel. These are some old buildings across from the Citadel.
This is a copula on top of a building at the foot of the Citadel.
These are the roofs of some of the buildings in the Citadel. We will visit here another day.
This is the entrance to the Public Gardens which we will also visit on another day.
Its been a full day and time to go home.
