Lunch with Nanette, Raymond and Karen

On Monday the 23rd, Raymond and Karen brought Nanette over to Newport to see us.  They were hungry for lunch at Mo’s.  Here are Wayne and Nanette.

Nanette and Raymond are brother and sister and are Wayne’s first cousins.

Here are Wayne and I.

Since everyone except me were having clam chowder they got the family bowl.

They also ordered cheese toast to go with it.

 

After lunch we watched one of the fishing boats come in and unload their catch.  Then we drove up to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse so they could see the dock from the Japanese tsunami.

The seals and seagulls were in their typical places.

We went back to the coach to visit until they needed to leave for Eugene.  Raymond and Karen will spend another night with Nanette before heading home to Puyallup, Washington.
