Trouble’s Hiding Place

Everytime we go out we make our dog, Trouble get off the couch.  Now when we rattle the car keys he automatically goes to his hiding place.

For some reason he likes to hide in our closet under the shirts.

When he realized Wayne had the camera he came out to see what was going on.

Don’t know why he decided the closet was better than his bed and he won’t tell us why.

Red Bay, Alabama

We arrived in Red Bay on April 6th and left on April 29th.  During that time they replaced the floor in the passenger front slide, replaced the rail caps, and did some other minor repairs.  Most of it was on their nickel.

It’s wild to look down a row of motor coaches and see so many that look just like ours.  That is ours on the left.

One night some people cooked up some chicken and ribs and invited the whole camp over.  We were sitting in the roadway.

We even had music.

Here is Cindy in our coach with Trouble.

Trouble found him a girlfriend that looked almost like him but they ignored each other.

After three plus weeks, we were happy to leave.

Trouble has a Girlfriend

One of the park residents, Howard, has a long haired Chihuahua named Teannie.

Teannie is the same age as Trouble and weighs the same so they make perfect playmates.

Some days they play indoors and other days outdoors.

Sometimes Trouble is the aggressor and sometimes Teannie is.

Howard will be leaving soon to go back to Illinois and trouble will be all alone with Wayne and I.

Hope he isn’t too sad until we can get to Massachusetts and he can meet Bear.

Trouble before and after

Here are two pictures of Trouble after we got him home.

His beautiful long hair was appropriate for the show ring but not for living in a motorhome. He kept getting stickers and grass, etc. stuck in it so off to the groomer's he went. Here are two after the grooming pictures.

It really shows off how tiny he really is. He loves to be outside in his play area. Of course he prefers to have one of us sitting right there as well but he will stay and play while we are doing other things outside.
